From 2025, the EcO Smart Monitor comes with a replaceable battery, making it easier than ever to extend its lifespan. The instructions for battery replacement are included in the manual that comes with your device, but here they are again for quick reference!

Step-by-Step Battery Replacement Guide

1️⃣ Unscrew the Top & Remove the Covers

Gently unscrew the top of your EcO monitor and lift off the covers. This will give you access to the internal components.

2️⃣ Take Out the Circuit Board (Without Disconnecting Any Wires!)

Carefully remove the circuit board, but do not disconnect any wires! It just needs to be set aside so you can reach the battery holder.

3️⃣ Take Out the Battery Holder

Once you’ve moved the circuit board, take out the battery holder—again, without unplugging anything. Everything stays connected!

4️⃣ Remove the Old Battery

Slide out the old battery from its holder. If it's stuck, a gentle push should do the trick.

5️⃣ Insert the New Battery

Place the fresh battery into the holder, making sure it’s securely seated and aligned correctly.

6️⃣ Put the New Battery Back Inside the EcO

Carefully position the battery holder back inside the EcO, exactly as it was before.

7️⃣ Reposition the Circuit Board

Move the circuit board back into place, ensuring it sits snugly inside the device.

8️⃣ Replace the Covers & Screw the Top Back On

Finally, put the top covers back on and screw everything tightly into place. Your EcO monitor is now ready to get back to work!
