Starting in 2025, the EcO smart monitor will feature replaceable sensors, extending its life more than ever. Here’s how to replace them!

1. Unscrew the top cover

Using a Torx T8 screwdriver, unscrew the 4 screws on the top cover. Carefully remove the cover and its O-ring.

2. Remove the battery from the main board

Gently take out the internal components. Lift the electronics board and unplug the battery from its holder.

3. Disconnect the board from the old probe

Once the battery is unplugged, disconnect the main board from the sensor wires of the old probe.

4. Connect the board to the sensor replacement kit

Attach the main board to the wires of your sensor replacement kit.

5. Reconnect the battery to the main board

With the main board connected, take the battery and insert it into the designated holder on the board. Plug it back in.

6. Reposition the components in the kit

Carefully place the battery holder back inside the kit, followed by the main board.

7. Reinstall the cover and tighten the screws

Put the cover and O-ring back in place and firmly tighten the 4 screws.

8. Rub the cap with a magnet to wake the probe

Wake the probe by rubbing the cap with a magnet. A beep confirms it’s awake. Your updated EcO is ready to go!
