We recommend placing the EcO pool assistant in the pool, however, if you have an automatic pool cover, we recommend you to place your EcO in the skimmer of your pool while the cover is closed to avoid any pressure under the cover.

You can also place the EcO in the skimmer when children are in the pool or during manual cleaning of the pool (robot, landing net, etc.)

Keep in mind that the analyses performed by the EcO while in the skimmer could be incorrect by the presence of chlorine tabs in the basket.
